The Agribiz Academy offers structured training programmes, tailor-made short courses, intensive retreats, coaching and mentoring.

  • Youth Agripreneurship Challenge

This is a 24 month long program with the broad objective of inculcating PASSION, CONVICTION and THE DRIVE TO MOVE FORWARD among the youth.

The program consists of a series of training and mentoring activities which include peer learning. Young “agripreneurs” are expected and trained to run a personal project (as the main outcome) as well as a family project and a community project. Successful trainees are trained to train other agripreneurs.

The Agribiz Academy undertakes collaborative research with government, and other institutions with similar interests engaged in similar and/or complementary work.

    The Barefoot Education for Afrika Trust (BEAT) Directors were instrumental in setting up, mentoring and running a regional Initiative, The Initiative for Development and Equity in African Agriculture (IDEAA).
